Because each work project is unique in character, content, and requirements, please feel free to send me a few pages of your project. I offer a free consultation in person or by phone, Skype, or email with a sample edit of your work so that you can get a sense of my skills and style. My goal is to provide customized service at a fair price.

Rates: My goal is to provide customized service at a fair price. I offer rates by the project or by the hour. In general, my rates are consistent with those listed by the Editorial Freelancers Association, but the rate depends on the type of project, the services offered, and the timeline. For this reason, I provide pricing information only after I’ve evaluated your manuscript. Once I’ve understood your needs, I'll provide a detailed description of the services to be performed, a price estimate, and a timeline for completion. I’ll quote either an hourly rate with an estimated number of total hours or a total project fee, depending on your preference. Once we agree on these terms, I’ll draft a contract and request a deposit. For new clients, I ask for a deposit of 50 percent of the estimated total project fee. I accept payment by cash, check, and Paypal.
